The MRCx patented process begins by harvesting human fibroblasts from a neonatal cell bank and culturing them in pure, bovine-free media.
The cells are then anchored to all-natural dextran microbeads and suspended in a culture chamber while the oxygen tension is lowered from atmospheric levels of 21% down to less than 5%.
During the conditioning process, the beads are gently and constantly stirred to allow unrestricted movement. The combination of gentle suspension and low oxygen levels mimics an embryonic environment.

This allows the cells to revert back to an embryonic-like state and exhibit stem cell properties, releasing multipotent growth factors.
